ShoutCMS uses Contacts for a variety of purposes including Order Management, Administrator Access, Directory Services, Members-only Areas, and Bulk Emailing.

Contacts are assigned to one or more Groups and can register on the site themselves by completing a Registration Form, or by purchasing a Product from the Store. Site Administrators can also add Contacts via the Administration Console or by importing a CSV file.

Most of the functions related to Contacts can be accessed in the Administration Console by clicking the top-level navigation icon titled "Contacts": Contacts Icon
